A classic eaten fresh or pickled with Mexican dishes! Compact plants are sturdy and work well in containers. SHU 5,000 3-3.5" fruits (Capsicum annuum)

sows approximately 12 feet

Early Jalapeno Hot Pepper:  Early ripening and hot bite.  Blunt 3" x 1" peppers can be eaten when dark green, or wait until they ripen to a deep red.  Compact plants are sturdy and work well in containers.

Planting Tips:   Peppers are long season, heat-loving annuals which require transplanting to reach full maturity in most areas.  Start transplants 6-8 weeks before planting date, after the danger of frost.  Optimal soil temperatur for germination is 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit.  Harvest promptly to encourage higher yields of ripe fruit.
