You can grow the seed for 10 days into grass and then juice it with a Wheatgrass Juicer.
Some people like to mix it with wheatgrass juice for a good, green combination.
Try to "keep it green" and mix it with spinach or other green veggies.

Your barley arrived in great shape. I soaked a cup of seeds right away for malt powder. They sprouted in a couple of days.

Barley vs wheat / Kamut

Eric on May 18th 2016

This is my second purchase of this product, and I will likely continue to order it as needed for my grass juice needs. Barley produces a lighter colored grass and juice than hard red winter wheat or Kamut. The juice is less sweet than the others, with a milder aroma. It is very well tolerated by myself and my family, even in quantities over the typical 2 - 3 oz for wheat grass juice. Grown and juiced under identical conditions, the other two are so concentrated that nausea, diarrhea, and even vomiting can occur at more than 2 oz.
