Here's a great summer BBQ recipe for a healthy snack. These crisp, spicy beans are also perfect as a salad topping. Makes about 1.5 cups.
- Half cup of organic non GMO dried Soy Beans
- Half Tsp. of olive oil
- Quarter Tsp. of the following (for the spice mix)
Paprika, Black Pepper, Dried Oregano, Dried Thyme, Garlic Powder
Soak the beans for about 10 hours
Turn on the oven to 350 degrees
Drain the beans well
Sprinkle the beans with oil and spice mix
Place the beans in a single layer on a metal tray and roast in the oven for 30 - 45 minutes.
While roasting, turn every 15 minutes to ensure they brown evenly.
When the beans are crisp, remove them from the oven
Allow to cool and enjoy!
