Premium Certified Organic Alfalfa Sprouting Seeds from Sprout House. One of the most widely known, alfalfa sprouts and microgreens are mild and sweet tasting. Easy to sprout and fast to become a family favorite.
Alfalfa sprouts and microgreens are super-foods because they are nutrient dense and high in fiber, minerals, Vitamins A, B, C, E and K. This low sodium, no cholesterol sprout is an excellent source of chlorophyll – the stuff that makes them green – and antioxidants which remove oxidizing agents in the body.
Grow your own non-GMO food using quality Sprout House alfalfa seeds – Easily sprouted in jars for sprouts or trays for microgreens, home grown alfalfa sprouts are ready to eat in about 5 to 7 days.Â
Use mature sprouts in a variety of ways – Try harvested alfalfa sprouts on sandwiches, in salads, or mixed into smoothies. Great for juicing due to their high-water content. I bought probably a 5 lb. container (whatever came in a 1 gallon pail) some 15 years ago, and they’re still as good as new! I did a germination test with about 100 seeds on a moist paper towel and nearly all still sprouted. I don’t see any way to insert a picture of this unfortunately. I live in Long Island where it doesn’t often get bitterly cold or blazingly hot, but we do get lots of freeze/thaw cycles. The bulk of the seeds were stored in a unheated detached garage in the sealed gallon container, and a “working stock” was kept in the kitchen. When I needed to replenish the working stock, I brought the bulk into the house and let it come to room temp. before opening it, being especially careful when it was cold out. This was done to prevent condensation, as moisture is the destroyer of seeds. So, keep the seeds dry and you’ll enjoy delicious sprouts for years to come!

I just bought these seeds last week, and I already have sprouts! It was so easy to do with the sprouting lids that are sold on this site. Every single time I order from this website it is always top quality, and this time was no exception.

I only have good things to say about The Sprout House. The website is easy to use and is a wealth of information on sprouting. I can’t believe how quickly the seeds arrived and also how quickly they sprouted. You can’t beat these high quality organic seeds. I tried two other types of sprouting seeds from The Sprout House a few months ago and am also very pleased with the seeds and of course the wonderful sprouts that they produce. I will be back for more seeds.

We have tried many different varieties, mixes, and suppliers but we always return to Sprout House Organic Alfalfa Sprouting seeds. They are dependably fresh and nearly every seed sprouts. While they are somewhat pricey, you get what you pay for.
